Monkton playwright and poet Robert Bowie Jr. and guest presenter Michael Fallon lead this group designed for those who enjoy reading, discussing and writing poetry. Try creating your own works to share and discuss. Participants should bring three copies of at least two poems they would like to review. No experience necessary. Mr. Bowie's plays have been performed in Baltimore and New York. He is the Harvard Alumni Association's poet laureate. Michael Fallon is the senior lecturer emeritus in English at University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Participants are also welcome to share their poetry at the First Mondays Open Mic Poetry Meetup at 6:30 p.m. at Manor Mill, 2029 Monkton Road.
